In an interview with the German synth-technology magazine Okey (No. 89, July / August 2009) Jarre mentions that he wants to create at least one and perhaps two concert DVDs from concerts in 2009 and 2010.

On a website affiliated with the United Nations there was in July announced that Jarre will hold a free outdoor concert in Brussels May 1st 2010, as part of a larger cultural festival. Jarre was supposedly to release a new album entitled Arawak for this occation. This must have been a joke, beceause none of this is true. Aero Productions has denied any such event ever to take place.

Friday two weeks ago a new telescope was inaugurated on the Canary Islands. Jarres proposed concert on the islands would have been a part of the initiation. Jarre is ambassador for Year of Astronomy 2009. Here is an article about the inauguration; http://snipurl.com/o5tx1

Here is an article for those interested in the PA system used on Jarre's tour. It stated among other things that the system is a prototype that does not come on the market until 2010; http://www.lsionline.co.uk/news/story/Arpege-deploys-K1-for-Jean-Michel-Jarre/-8TJH8H
