Sessions 2000 was released in 2002 on Disques Dreyfus. The album was created so he could be free from his contract with Sony Music. Therefore it's not so commercially minded. The style is ambient, chillout and jazz and the recordings are made from jam sessions. The titles on the tracks corresponds to the dates where the jam sessions were held. Some modern synthesizer workstations were heavily used, most notably Korg Triton and Roland XP-80.
